Lots of Essex schools have already registered to take part in Clean Air Heroes. Has yours?
Remember: Clean Air Heroes is a collective effort to reduce traffic, pollution, increase physical activity and, by doing so, increase the amount donated to protect African rhinos.
Happy New Year!
It's all systems GO here...our sponsor, the Colchester Zoo, has now identified the conservation project to benefit from pupils' efforts to reduce traffic and pollution. Walk/scoot/cycle to school and help save the black and white rhinos of South Africa thanks to the Zoo's generous contribution to the Action for the Wild rhino project. Register your school today and help to reduce pollution and save the rhino!
The pilot is complete! Our 9 schools have successfully taken part on a trial-run of the activity with fantastic results. And the weather was not in their favour! We expect GREAT things from them in the spring and summer.
If your school wants to take part, join now by filling in the online form.
Clean Air Heroes has great news about the sponsor for its incentive scheme. We will soon tell the Essex world about it and the finer details.
At present we are running a pilot with a few schools. Namely:
Holland Haven primary
Stanway Fiveways primary
The Tyrrells primary
White Court primary
Clean Air Heroes is being finalised.
